Powdered barley grass juice is an excellent form of "fast food".
Barley grass juice can be prepared quickly by mixing barley grass powder with water. Within seconds, you have a high-dose serving of nutrients from green vegetables - comparable to a bowl full of salad!

According to Dr. Hagiwara, they are "crushed leaves" that are packaged. Because the fibers are still contained in these products, they are very poorly absorbed by the body and can cause discomfort in the small intestine if fibers get caught in the villi [tiny, elongated projections that help the body absorb food].
